Winchester's Year of Heroes

During 2008, Winchester Tourism will be exploring some of the characters that have played an important role in the history of the district over the centuries. With the help of the Winchester Area Tourist Guides and many of the district's attractions, we'll be looking at a wealth of famous figureheads from the military and mighty to the literary and lowly. You'll also have the opportunity to nominate and vote for your own modern-day Winchester Hero.
