Mayor of Winchester to open old Winchester building!
The Mayor of Winchester will this Sunday 4th May, be opening an old well-known building of Winchester. The "Kiosk" as it has become known used to stand next to the library but was moved to Twyford Waterworks in 2006. Since then it has undergone extensive restoration by a large band of fantastic volunteers and this Sunday it will be officially opened by the Mayor of Winchester and will form the Waterworks' new ticket office and gift shop. Visitors on the 4th will be able to witness the official opening ceremony and also get the chance to be among the first people to use the new facility.
